Most manufactures of four-wheel drive vehicles recommend that you change all four tires at once. This is because a discrepancy between the tires can cause issues with the power sent to each wheel, which in the long run can lead to a burn out of the drivetrain. For the advice of your specific manufacturer, please check your owner’s manual for front or rear-wheel drive vehicles, it’s advised that you change tires in axle pairs – either both of the rear or front tires for optimum performance on the road.
